With its 2012 M35h, Infiniti has proven that driving a hybrid doesn’t have to be dull. But the M35h is more than just a fast car, it’s also a fully fledged luxury sedan with all the comfort you could want.

Quick-witted reflexes and yikes! acceleration aren’t ingredients typically found in the hybrid recipe book, but the M Hybrid is part of a new breed that promises to change the way we experience these fuel-minded machines.

The 2012 Infiniti M35h delivers on its promise of V8 performance with I4 fuel economy, while retaining comfort, luxury, and just enough of a sporty edge to keep it interesting. And its price won’t induce nose bleed.

The M35h hybrid isn’t flawless, but it is one of the best arguments to convince a passionate driver to sit behind the wheel of a green-themed vehicle – and it could be the best M in the automaker’s lineup.

Wwhile Infiniti may be fashionably late to the luxury hybrid party, this technology-stuffed, sporty hybrid sedan certainly looks as though it will be a green machine worth keeping on the guest list.

The M Hybrid hits a sweet spot, marrying enough luxury trimmings to satisfy the hedonistic with great off-the-line performance and fuel economy that won’t make luxury-oriented greenies cringe.

The M35h is perhaps the first hybrid we’ve ever fallen in love with. It ain’t cheap and it won’t save the world, but there’s plenty to enjoy about this relatively low guilt sedan.

The M35h’s operation is fairly seamless, which is surprising, considering how thoroughly electrified the car is. And it looks identical to the M37, except for its rump badge. But let’s face it: At its price, the M35h isn’t going to sell like hotcakes.

The M35h’s fuel-economy benefit doesn’t seem worth the price premium, the odd-feeling regenerative brakes and the palpable shudders when the gas engine restarted to add power whenever the electric motor summoned the cavalry.
