While it’s certainly not the $10K econo box that some automakers are offering in this segment, with the Fit you get what you pay for and then some. It has plenty of standard equipment, great options, tons of style (inside and out), is fun to drive and great on fuel.

The 2010 Honda Fit is as adorable as a purse-sized pooch and draws nearly as much attention. This subcompact hatchback lives up to its name because it fits just about anywhere you can legally park it and all of my family’s gear fit inside it, as well. The Fit was a good fit for my family of four.

The Fit’s strongest selling points are its impressive passenger accommodations and large, flexible cargo space. While prices may seem steep for the class, it comes very well equipped.

The enviable cargo and passenger space makes the Honda Fit a replacement for bigger sedans. Compared with its subcompact competitors, the Fit has a healthy dose of personality; on top of being able to haul a lot of goods, it’s also fun to drive.

As much fun as the Fit is, for the average driver it might be a letdown. If you are looking for old-school Honda, you won’t be disappointed. If you are looking for the most refined car in this class, you may need to wait for the next refresh.
