The 2013 Ford Mustang has received a lot of enhancements that don’t get in the way of its core attributes. It’s still the same raucous tire-smoking beast that brings a smile to anyone with a pulse. It doesn’t look like there’s much room for improvement.

The 2011 Mustang V-6 is a damned good car. The 5.0, on the other hand, is better than damned good. Unless your shopping list starts at Gallardo money, it should include a Mustang GT.

Fortunately, you don’t have to be a big boss to afford the Ford Mustang Boss 302. While it’s not cheap, you get a lot of car for the money, and a real performance bargain. We’re pretty happy with the 2012 BOSS, and think anybody looking to work with some serious muscle will be, too.
